Los Ahijados was born in 1987 in General Bravo, Nuevo León, when the Cantú Fernández family decided to share their cooking and traditions through a small taco stand. Over time it became a restaurant known for its Mexican food, its warmth and its family atmosphere.

In 1995 the business grew with a roadside stop on the Cadereyta–Reynosa highway, at km 98.5, with a restaurant and a store to serve travelers.

Today Los Ahijados is a family business spanning three generations, proud of its roots and its regional flavor, and still a meeting point for anyone looking for good food and hospitality on the road.
